Junior Handling

1st         Tamsin Blyton handling a 2yr Bouvier. This young lady is a very competent handler. Good use of voice to command and control your dog, calm and reassuring. The only area I feel you could work on is showing the teeth. Changing hands and position makes it harder to show the teeth cleanly in a breed with a long coat round the mouth. Apart from that, I like the way you stand your dog in a calm firm way, your pattern work and lines were good and shadowing slick. Good job.

Smooth Collies

Disappointing that I only had 1 present from 8 entries.

Puppy (2,1)

1st         Martin’s Shandlmain Blu Chief. 11mth Blue Merle D. Handsome upstanding young man with a head with good length, parallel planes, flat skull and slight stop. Nice eyes & good ear set. Good length of neck into a well made front assembly with well laid shoulders and return of upper arm, straight front with good bone and neat oval feet. Liked his body proportions, good depth to ribs and correct amount of loin under a level topline. Rear is well muscled with good angles. Tends to stand himself a little tucked under on the rear and took time to settle on the move but once he loosened up he was moving well, true fore and aft with and easy gait. BP & BOB
