Special Classes

Special Puppy (3,1)

1st        Kettle’s Lujessa Daydream Believer. 10mth Black B. Rather exuberant young lady. Exquisite head, very feminine with a lovely square muzzle and dark eyes. Good length of neck to well laid shoulders. Well sprung ribs and a correctly proportioned body. Well angled rear with a good bend of stifle.  Needs to learn to concentrate on the stand but her handler could help more here. Rather bouncy on the move, but showing some lovely reach and drive in places. So pleased to watch her win RBPIS later.

2nd       Kew’s Lujessa Dolly Daydream at Wylyeview. 7mth Black & Tan B. Finer throughout with feminine head & dark eyes. Good neck and shoulders, not as much forechest as the winner but ribs well sprung. Level top line with good tail set.  Correct rear angles. Moved well when settled.

Special Graduate (2,0)
1st        Hutson’s Stobytill Hippy Shake JW. 2yr Blue Roan B. Stood away in this class, lovely head with square muzzle & dark eyes.  Correct length of neck flows into well laid shoulders, good depth and spring of rib with fore chest. Level top line, good rear angles, nice bone and feet. Moved steady with reach and drive. Lovely that she won her class in the

2nd       Braddock’s Olibitha Poplar. Very pretty, 15mth Black & White B. What a sweetie, feminine head, reasonable proportions and nice expression. Elegant through neck to well laid shoulders. Lacks forechest and spring of rib. Rear end ok, Moved well.

Open (5,2)

What a super trio of dogs. Interestingly I have awarded 2 of these BOB in the past at open shows, and all 3 went on the win their classes later in the day.

1st        Warrington’s Zakova Sugar Plum. 22mth Black & Tan. Turns out I gave her BP last year and she remains the best black and tan I have judged. Lovely head of correct shape and proportions with a good muzzle missing in so many black & tans. Her dark eye completing the expression. Good length of neck sits well into her well laid shoulders. Good fore chest, well sprung ribs and a level top line. Good rear angles and the best move with reach and drive.

2nd       Hutson’s Stobytill Shake Ya Booty. 4yr Blue Mrl B. One I have given BOB in the past and still looking good. Super shape, a little smaller than 1. Lovely head, feminine with good proportions, lovely eyes and expression and a good square muzzle. Very good shoulder and front assembly. Depth and spring to ribs, firm short loin and well-made rear. Another good mover, not quite as tidy today as the winner.

3rd        Clifford’s Serci After Dark at Shadow Amor of Chamford (Imp SRB). 3yr Blue Roan D and another of my previous BOBs at open shows. Lovely outline, masculine head with square muzzle & dark eyes.  Good length of neck to well laid shoulders, deep well sprung ribs with fore chest. Level top line, good rear angles. Lost out on the move in this class as he was unsettled both in front and behind. Please to see him back to his usual self later where he won RBIS.
